Creative treat ideas to keep your dog occupied.

Evolution Beef Tubes make an excellent time-consuming snack and are fantastic for promoting dental health! These crunchy, lean pure protein chews are full of Chondroitin Sulfate and Glucosamine and are great for dogs with sensitive stomachs or allergies.

Dogs love snacks, so why not give them something healthy!

Many of our customers feed the Beef Tubes as is, and many others make it interesting for their animals by filling the inside with their dog’s favourite fillings.

If you are stuck for ideas, see below for some of our customer’s reviews and favourites.

The options below vary from dry to wet fillings and in the hotter months they freeze them and allow their dogs to chew on them throughout the day as they defrost.

Your beef tubes have been a game changer for being able to offer a safe and fuss free way to ditch the bowl as a raw feeder, and it’s great to know not only are we providing enrichment to our boy, but also a nutritious and yummy treat at the same time! 🙂

We usually use Big Dog BARF patties or a half cup of mince, then raw beef cheek and ox heart, and occasionally a quail egg makes for a nice gooey surprise.

Simple Honey and Yoghurt Filling ( great to freeze )

  • 1 cup of plain yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (raw and local is the best!)

Shepherd’s Pie

  • 1 cup of mashed oven baked potato
  • 1/2 cup of boiled ground beef
  • 1/8th teaspoon of parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar cheese

 
Peanut Butter and Banana

  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of mashed bananas

Fruit and Veggies

  • 2 tablespoons of frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped banana
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped strawberries
  • 1 cup of boiled mashed sweet potato

  • 1/2 a cup of shredded chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese
